I bought my first Simple Modern bottle way back in 2019, I believe. I'm disabled and am home alone a lot, and not able to get up to get myself water. I purchased a bottle nearly large enough to hold an entire two liters of ice cold water. Because of how durable the bottle was, and how long it kept the water cold (still had ice in it after 6 days in a car) we decided to buy the Kona cups for tea and coffee. After a year of use, I made the mistake of putting the lids in the sink to wash, where they unfortunately sat and absorbed the smell of spaghetti. That's on me, and since the lids were over a year old, I bought replacements.The replacements were the perfect size, and just as durable as the originals. They're also really inexpensive. I love the Simple Modern brand. All of their products have surpassed luxury brands like Stanley, Yeti, and Hydroflask in terms of durability and how long they keep beverages hot or cold. They're also half the cost. I hope they start a loyalty program, because I've bought so many and given so many away as gifts.
